
No software today. Been busy making a frame for a large painting. After two Home Depot trips, a lot of measuring, cutting, and nailing later, it's finished. The steps in pictures:

The corners are cut at 45 degree angles. The reason the edges are beveled is for keeping the wide part of the frame from hitting the surface. You get the beveled effect by placing a narrower, curved piece over the rectangular wood - all cut at the hardware store.

After this picture, tucked the fabric in for a clean finish.
