You may have noticed the site counter at the bottom of the righthand sidebar. It's an animated globe by Geovisite that counts the number of visitors from different countries. A CSS blog not being as popular as say a politics or cooking blog, it's pretty quiet around here so the kitschy turning globe is my only connection to my readers. If a visitor from Brunei comes by, I get to see that which is pretty cool. But it turns out the little gadget has been eating away my CPU. So I have to decide its fate.
If you want to find out which programs are keeping your CPU busy and slowing you down, you can bring up the system window by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL keys simultaneously. Incidentally, this three key combo used to be how you rebooted PC's when your C pointers wrote all over your memory.
