Google Chrome Build/Link Fails With 2G of Swap

I'm still having trouble getting Google Chrome to link on my machine. I'm running Ubuntu 10.4, and using the gold linker. I bumped my swap space up to 2Gig, thinking that would provide enough virtual memory to complete the link. Here's how I did that:


and confirmed the amount of swap by running "top":


I then rebooted and brought up only a terminal window to have as much free memory as possible before starting the link again. Alas, here's what I'm still getting:

Back to the drawing board.
